One of the most important messages I wish to share is this; sin comes in many forms. It disguises itself in countless shapes and colors and it’s greatest wish is to take over your life and “KILL” you. The penalty for sin is death and one day we will all die. The biq question is where will we go after death?

God loves you. It does not matter who you are, what you’ve done or how many times you’ve done it. He is the living God of all the world. He bled and died on an old rugged cross and He loves you more than you love yourself. Whatever your sin may be, it does not matter. You can’t fix it. I can’t fix it. You don’t need to be fixed – you need to be saved through the blood of Jesus Christ. Surrender today and ask Jesus to come into your heart and life. He wants to save your soul and make you into the person He created you to be. He has the power to raise Himself from the grave and He can save you!

I hope and pray you ask Him to be Lord and Savior of your life. If you have done this, it’s time to make a decision. Will you leave the sins behind and follow Him?

How do you leave the homosexual lifestyle? Well, let’s start with how not to do it. Not gradually. Not partially. Not slowly. You can’t leave this lifestylye and remain in it at the same time. You leave it or you don’t. And if you leave it, you must leave all of it. Not just the person you are in the relationship with but all the things associated with homosexuality. The friends, the places you visit, the groups you’re in, the clubs, the bars, the magazines, anything, everything………all of it. Why? You can’t hang around with the very sin you are trying to leave. If the Holy Spirit is convicting you of what you must do, you must do it.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:23-24.

Can’t do it? You’re right, you can’t. But God can. Get on your knees and pray for God’s help. Ask Him to provide for your needs. If you need a place to go or someone to talk to, ask God. He will provide. He’ll do whatever it takes. Seriously, you can’t do this alone. Nor does He want you to. Having a relationship with God means laying your needs, your burdens, your pains at His feet. Let Him help you. He’s God, you’re not. Is anything too hard for the LORD? Genesis 18:14.

Take the first step. This is hard. This was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I left. I packed my stuff and left the man I was living with. I left my friends. I left the bars. I left the magazines. I left all the people who really loved me and whom I loved in return. I left it all.

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.1Corinthians 15:33

I didn’t know what tomorrow held. I didn’t know what the next hour held. But I did know one thing. I knew this was sin and I would have no more it. I could not imagine how to not be gay so I prayed, “God, I don’t know how not to be gay, but I do know how to be a Christian. I know how to read the bible. I know how to understand it. I know how to believe what it says. And I know how to do what it says. I’m going to start focusing on being a Christian, rather than not being gay.”

Not only does your body have to leave homosexuality but your mind does too. Sin is conceived, born and raised into a mature, full blown habit right there in the comfort of your own mind. Sinning is easy. Godly behavior requires conscious, dedicated effort and vigilence. I kid you not when I say it’s more than just removing your body from the world of homosexuality. You are going to have to retrain your mind to dwell on the things of the Lord. You are going to have to be the gatekeeper of your thoughts.

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” James 1:13-15 NIV

For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by it’s unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the Holy Spirit.” Romans 8:5 (Amplified Bible)
